Club 91 is so named in honour of Shane Cherry a Life Member of EPCC who passed away a couple of years ago following a tough battle with his health. Shane (with his wife Debbie) was a significant contributor to the club as a player, committee member and sponsor. Shane gave and gave around the club doing job after job after job. He wasn't remembered for his cricketing ability, more his ability to make us laugh playing it, but his love of the game and this club is what remains (and the Rolling Stones!)
Club 91 recognises Shane's top score.
We recognise Shane's biggest contribution in just being one hell of a good bloke, always smiling, laughing and looking after anyone and everyone else.
